After studying for a music degree, Libby initially worked in classical music publishing. Despite still loving all things musical, in 2005, she decided to change direction and re-trained as a Physiotherapist. After several years working clinically, in a variety of settings, she currently works in research focussing on neurodegenerative diseases, specifically Multiple Sclerosis. She is about to complete a Masters in Clinical and Health research where she was able to carry out her own research into patient experiences in communication of a diagnosis of MS. Libby has a Sister with HOCM and is really excited to take on the Cardiomyopathy Change Maker role and to start helping make a difference for people with cardiomyopathy!
